ఈశా ఫౌండేషన్ ( Isha Foundation ) వారి ఆధ్వర్యం లో ఫిబ్రవరి 24 వ తేదీ 2017 , మహాశివరాత్రి నాడు 112 అడుగుల ఆదియోగి శివుని విగ్రహాన్ని ప్రధానమంత్రి మోదీ ఆవిష్కరించారు. కోయంబత్తూరు నుంచి 25 కిమీ దూరం లో గల ఈశా యోగ కేంద్రం లో ఈ విగ్రహాన్ని ఏర్పాటుచేశారు.
> ప్రపంచం లోనే అదిపెద్ద శివుని విగ్రహం ఇదే కావడం విశేషం.
>డిజైన్ చేయడానికి పట్టిన సమయం రెండున్నరేళ్లు
> నిర్మాణం 8 నెలల్లోనే పూర్తిచేశారు.
> విగ్రహం బరువు 500 టన్నులు
> మానవ శరీరం లో 112 చక్రాలు ఉంటాయని వాటికి ప్రతీకగా 112 అడుగుల విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు చేసారు .
