History Of Sri Kalahasti
The priests worship the Goddess before starting homage to the Lord Shiva in the early morning. The best thing is the devotee KANNAPPA who offered his EYES is on the top of the Hill and the Lord Shiva is below him. As per the mythology of place, one should visit the devotee KANNAPPA first and to the LORD next. When you come out from the Lord Shiva temple, just take right so that you can view the temples of the Goddess and the Devotee KANNAPPA and The Temple Dwajasthambham at a time. If you don’t know ask anyone out there. They will show you.

Morning Opening Time : 4.30 am
Evening Closing Time : 8.30 pm
