The word “Thomala” means a garland of flowers. Hence this arjitha seva assumes importance of decorating the presiding deity with exquisitely tied colourful floral and Tulasi garlands after awakening Him from celestial sleep with Suprabhata Seva.
This arjitha seva is intended to call the special attention of the pilgrim grihasta who takes part paying requisite amount to witness the flower decoration of the “Mula Virat”(main deity)which takes place at the end of the puja.
Known as “Thodutha Malai” in Tamil, the flower garlands in Yamunathurai are brought by the Periya Jiyar-the chief pontiff of Tirumala temple as per the traditional custom or by his Ekangi (disciple) in the temple, with a lighted torch in a procession to the rhythmic beat of Jeganta (handy bells)to the temple.
The flower garlands are made into several pieces and each piece being of a particular size to be adorned to the respective areas to enhance the Divine beauty of Lord in a spectacular manner. This seva lasts for about 30 minutes. This arjitha seva is performed only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays while in Ekantam(pilgrims are not allowed)during the rest of the week.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is releasing tickets three months in advance, on 18th or 19th of every month. Selection is done through electronic Dip. First we need to register on TTD website or app.

Two persons can book a ticket.

No refund for cancellation.
👉 Incase one person unable to join after booking for two, alone can attend seva?
There is no problem to attend single person.

There is no possibility like that, only registered persons have to attend.

Early morning 3:30AM.
👉 What time should the ticket holders to report?
On the ticket itself TTD writes reporting time and we should be there by that time, usually all the devotees are in line by 2:30AM .

We have to book the room separately, If the room is not available online, we have to book it from the CRO office.

We can book both, there is no problem.

Suprabhata Seva, Tomala, Archana, Ashtadal Padapadmaradhana Seva are all one group and you are not allowed to book any other services for 180 days.
👉 Can we book the Kalyanam ticket if selected for Thomala Seva?
We can book Kalyanam ticket there is no problem.
👉 How many big laddus are given to those who selected for Thomala seva?
One small laddu only, need to buy if you wish more.
👉 What should be taken while going to Thomala Seva?
Thomala Seva ticket print out and Aadhaar card should be taken, Wear traditional clothes only.
👉How to participate in Thomala Seva lucky draw near CRO office?
Every day there is a lucky draw near the CRO office for mentioned sevas, we have to take Aadhaar card and register, Mobile number should be mentioned.

Only for one seva is allowed.
👉 What are the timings at the CRO office?
From 11 am to 5 pm.
👉 When will the results declared?
By 6:30 pm, you will receive message if you are selected. Once you make the payment the ticket will be booked.
