Among the lakhs of devotees who visit Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swami, children have a special place. Many parents come to offer the birth hairs of their children to Swami. Others come to visit when their children are born. We know what Tirumala darshans are like, and it is difficult to walk in such a long line with children. No Darshan ticket is required for children under the age of 12.
TTD has arranged special darshans for children. You can directly go to Darshan without taking any tickets, and you don't have to walk far.
Eligible: Children under one year.
Tickets: Tickets are not required.
Darshan: It is given only to the parents of the child, if another child is present with a baby under one year, they can also be taken to Darshan for free.
Where to go: There is a bridge to the left of Swami's temple, you should go there. ( Supadham)
Darshan Time: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
What to carry: Aadhaar card of the parents along with the child's Aadhaar card, Date of birth certificate is required if Aadhaar card is not available.
Will there be Darshan all days?: There is Darshan every day, on festivals like Vaikuntha Ekadashi, Ratha Saptami, Brahmotsavam, Darshan is not available, so it is better to go on non-crowded days.
The last question is can we go for Darshan with the child today and do it again tomorrow? Or should there be a gap?
This is a good question if you do Darshan once you are not given another chance for 90 days, you can go for all the remaining Darshans.
